I have over 7 years' experience in online and broadcast factual programming, working on current affairs programming for BBC World News, the BBC YouTube channel and it's digital platforms, as well as at leading broadcast companies such as Multi Story Media, and in collaboration with international charities such as Water Aid, Culture Shift and Disability Sports Coach.

In 2018 I was one of Sheffield Doc/Fest and ITF's 'Rising Directors', and in 2019 I was selected onto the BAFTA crew X BFI NETWORK professional development scheme.

I have been a Shooting PD on short documentary films for the BBC and Vice, and written and directed award-winning short films that have been screened in cinemas nationwide as well as at BAFTA-qualifying festivals including Sheffield Doc Fest, Aesthetica Film Festival and LIDF, and TriForce film festival and Edinburgh Fringe.

With a background in self-shooting, directing, producing and editing, I am a versatile filmmaker with the ability to take a film from its conception to delivery – mindful of every element of production. I am an intuitive camera operator, with a skill for making people feel comfortable in front of the lens. I love telling character-driven stories that reflect our ever-changing culture, and explore and celebrate the quirks of human nature.

I am particularly interested in showing unheard and underrepresented voices in media, which is reflected heavily in my work to date
